Episodes are very much a combination of slapstick and classic silent comedy in Aardman’s recognizable animation style. There is no spoken dialogue, even by human characters. In this way it is reminiscent of silent comedy films. However, simple grunts, bleats, and sighs are all used to add subtle expression to each character's moods and feelings.

Upin and Ipin are a children's animated film was released on September 14, 2007 in Malaysia and broadcast on TV9. The film was produced by Les' Copaque. Initially the film aims to educate children to live for the month of Ramadan. Now, Upin & Ipin already has three seasons. In Indonesia, Upin & Ipin present in MNCTV. In Turkey, Upin & Ipin Hilal broadcast on TV. The film is a duration of 5-7 minutes each episode.

Initially included as a movie idea Geng: Starting odyssey, Upin & Ipin made by Mohd. Nizam Abdul Razak, Mohd. Safwan Abdul Karim, and Usamah Zaid, the owners of Les' Copaque. All three are former students from the Multimedia University in Malaysia who initially worked as a worker in an organization the animation before finally met with the former oil and gas trader, Haji Burhanuddin Radzi and wife named H. Aenon Ariff in 2005, then opened the organization Les' Copaque.
